You’ve no doubt noticed that a lot of CPA firms and consultants offer many of the same services BowenPhillips does. So how do you decide which firm is right for you? Well, let us put in a few plugs for ourselves to help you choose.

Our competitors use a few choice words to describe us: serious, intense, aggressive, competitive, all work. Okay. But what’s wrong with that? Especially if you’re one of our clients. When your project is the one we’re working on so intensely, when you’re the client one of our teams is brainstorming innovative solutions for, or you’re the client we’re aggressively protecting and defending in a tax dispute — don’t those words describe exactly what you want in a CPA and consultant?

Some CPAs put too much emphasis on their hourly charge for a given service. We like to think in

terms of the worth of our services — what value we can deliver for our fees. As one of our clients said when we made a proposal to his firm, “you had me at the V-word.”

Actually, our reputation for being such dogged workers stems from the enjoyment we get from what we do. We love getting to learn our clients’ businesses. We get a kick out of examining the various ways of doing things and then doing what is best for the client’s specific purpose.

We like thinking outside of that ubiquitous box. And right now, we’re even enjoying ferreting out the details of the sweeping new legislation that is about to change not only the financial sector, but also healthcare.
